Using Sketchup, Google's free 3D modeling tool I made a city of geometric shapes. Most buildings include windows and some have details on the roofs which show the amount of time put into it. Each area on the city has some kind of texture on it. There is a Burj Khalifa look a like, a warehouse, a bank, parking garage, a bridge and apartment buildings. This project was done in 1 week as we had to put anything we could put in to the best of our abilities.

AutoCAD Coordinates

Fall 2017

This project was made in AutoCAD, the purpose of the project was to teach me and other students on how to use AutoCAD as it has been the first times any of us has used it. To make these interesting shapes and letters we used the line command while staying on the grid lines. This project took 2 days, 1 day to create each shape 1 day to add the finishing touches.

AutoCAD Galaga

Fall 2017

This project was similar to a demonstration of skill. Our tasks were to make the galaga sprites in AutoCAD then arrange them similar to the game. The grid and snap to grid come in handy during this project to line up each enemy correctly.

Minigolf Course

Fall 2017

This project was like a test of our abilities and what we learned in AutoCAD and Sketchup. First created the layout of the minigolf course in AutoCAD which had us use commands such as fillet to make the curved corners. I had to convert everything frogs scratch, remaking each and every hole

AutoCAD Checkers

Fall 2017

This project was made using the advanced modify tools like offset and Array. The array tool was used to make the board and the large amounts of lines surrounding each checker. The offset command was used on the checkers to give them the circle look.

The doors were first made in AutoCAD to have a design for the doors used in the future beach house project. The door is then made into sketchup to be a physical product.

AutoCAD Perspective

Fall 2017

This project was used to explain how to make a 3 dimensional object on a 2 dimensional space. Makes it easier to understand how to use autoCAD in a 2 dimensional way.

Sketchup Taipei101/Skyscraper

Fall 2017

A recreation of Taipei 101 in Sketchup. This project took 2 weeks to make the building resemble Taipei 101. I had attempt to scale the building to the actual building size which is roughly 1100 feet. The first picture is the only picture I could gather for some reason sketchup on the school computer would not let me open the final product file.

Sketchup Beach House

Fall 2017

This beach house I made is inspired by a beachhouse of the west coast except it was designed like it was on the east coast. Each window, door, and railing have 3D details. I wish I had more time to add more details such as the roof however the roof still has some details and possibly using a different texture on the roof, however I like how it looks for now. I could've added bushes or a mailbox.

AutoCAD Shapes
Fall 2017

These shapes created in AutoCAD have been made in multiple different types of views. The first four shapes include all the views while the last 4 only contain the standard order view and the isometric view with green lines to show lines in the background.

A restaurant created in sketchup. This one is designed like a diner. A majority of the time spent on this project was put into designing each little thing such as trashcans, light posts, etc. The only problem I had with this is the colors, it was pretty hard to find the colors I needed.
